Your dress rehearsal (de: "Generalprobe") for the marathon

Four weeks before the spectacular season highlight BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, you can hold your dress rehearsal for the ultimate discipline at the event “die Generalprobe”.

The half marathon on the 2-lap course through Berlin's neighbourhoods will be the perfect test of your preparation.

Your finish along the shopping mile Schlossstrasse in the center of Steglitz will prepare you for the last metres just past the Brandenburg Gate at the marathon.

Three districts of Berlin - two lengths - one loop

Everyone will find their running happiness on the super-flat circuit of “Die Generalprobe” on August 24, 2025. Let yourself be infected and carried away by the good atmosphere—no matter what distance you run.

Quarter marathon

Are you more of a casual type and want to enjoy a relaxed late summer afternoon? Then the 10.5 km loop is perfect for you.

Running Friendship Put to the Test at “die Generalprobe”

The running event “die Generalprobe” organized by SCC EVENTS, serves as a benchmark for participants on their way to the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. Some runners, however, view this event independently of the marathon taking place four weeks later. What many of the starters at the Dress Rehearsal have in common is that they come from Berlin or the surrounding area. But not all of them.
